This Worked !!! Before I purchased this, I tried things like
limiting fluids before bedtime and waking my Son up in the middle of the night
to use the bathroom. This helped but it didn't teach his deep sleeping mind and
body to connect with the urinating event. He wasn't aware it was happening.
These true statements are from the Manual: "Over time, your child will
become conditioned to wake up more quickly with each bedwetting incident and
will eventually wake up before wetting the bed." and, "A successful
treatment requires persistence and positive reinforcement and can take a few
months." For us it took 3 1/2 months and there were some bumps in the road
but in the end, the signals from the bladder are now recognized and understood
in his brain. Hints: Make sure the sensor is cleaned each time with warm water.
Even if it looks clean it still might set off the alarm if it isn't. And we found
that duct tape was a little stickier than the supplied tape. You can buy duct
tape in all sorts of colors and patterns to make it more fun. He and I are
